Project Description

Rum Point Beach is one of Grand Cayman’s most treasured seaside spots. The Rum Point Club has become an institution there, serving island beverages and a mix of casual and fine dining options to locals and visitors alike. During the island’s pandemic shutdown to tourists, the Rum Point Club began some extensive upgrades to their facilities, and Island Supply was honored to provide our design, supply and installation services to make this landmark better than ever.

The kitchen for their newly-named restaurant, Solis, was given a refreshing overhaul, enabling them to create gourmet pizzas in-house with equipment including a dough press, prep area and double-stacked Marsal pizza oven. A new dishwashing system and 2 full-sized Rational Combi-Ovens were also among the upgrades to this area.

The bar space is truly impressive, both inside and out. Island Supply designed a new bar storage area, as well as designing and equipping the indoor and outdoor bar space. Custom-built cocktail stations flank each end of the open-air bar area, allowing for smoother service and more Mudslides, one of the Rum Point Club’s signature drinks.
